π₯ BREAKING: Total Fire Bans Declared for Saturday π₯
Issued: 18 April 2025 β 3:22 PM
The SA Country Fire Service has declared TOTAL FIRE BANS for Saturday, 19 April in the Mid North Fire Ban District, with a Fire Danger Rating of EXTREME. This means very hazardous fire weather conditions are expected.
β° The ban is in place from midnight tonight to midnight Saturday.
π What this means for you:
If you’re in an affected area, review your Bushfire Survival Plan now. Conditions are dangerous β only well-prepared and defended homes offer any safety during a fire. If you donβt have a plan, your safest option is to leave early, well before a fire threatens.
πΎ Landowners:
– Ensure burn-offs are completely extinguished before midnight tonight
– Follow your local harvest codes of practice
– Prepare properties and fire-fighting equipment now
π’ Agencies are urged to activate Total Fire Ban procedures.
