πŸ”₯ BREAKING: Total Fire Bans Declared for Saturday πŸ”₯
Issued: 18 April 2025 – 3:22 PM

The SA Country Fire Service has declared TOTAL FIRE BANS for Saturday, 19 April in the Mid North Fire Ban District, with a Fire Danger Rating of EXTREME. This means very hazardous fire weather conditions are expected.

⏰ The ban is in place from midnight tonight to midnight Saturday.

🏠 What this means for you:
If you’re in an affected area, review your Bushfire Survival Plan now. Conditions are dangerous β€” only well-prepared and defended homes offer any safety during a fire. If you don’t have a plan, your safest option is to leave early, well before a fire threatens.

🌾 Landowners:
– Ensure burn-offs are completely extinguished before midnight tonight
– Follow your local harvest codes of practice
– Prepare properties and fire-fighting equipment now

πŸ“’ Agencies are urged to activate Total Fire Ban procedures.

πŸ“² Stay informed through:

– CFS Information Hotline: 1800 362 361
– Emergency Broadcasters: ABC Radio, FIVEaa, and more
– Alert SA App, CFS Facebook & X
– For emergencies, always call 000

⚠️ Let’s stay safe, stay alert, and look out for each other. Please share this with family, friends, and neighbours in affected areas.
