Jamestown Show
The Jamestown Show returns to Victoria Park over the October long weekend with two days of agricultural competition, entertainment and family activities. The Jamestown Agricultural, Horticultural & Floricultural Society has been running shows in the district since 1875, with the event continuing its original purpose of showcasing agricultural, pastoral, home-produce, craft and community achievements.
The 2026 program includes livestock, working dog trials, shearing and woolhandling, poultry and wool exhibits, show rides, sideshows, classic cars and bikes, fashion parades and trade sites. Free activities include jumping castles, a giant sandpit, face painting, miniature machines and children’s competitions. Visitors can also see sheaf tossing and the ute pull, while the show weekend includes a fireworks display and a broad range of pavilion entries and demonstrations.
