Mount Gambier Show
The Mount Gambier Show is one of South Australia’s major regional agricultural shows, bringing around 10,000 people to the Mount Gambier Showgrounds and drawing visitors from across the Limestone Coast and western Victoria. The Mount Gambier Agricultural & Horticultural Society has been part of the community since 1860, with the Show combining traditional agricultural competition with entertainment for all ages.
Visitors can explore indoor and outdoor trade exhibits, beef and dairy cattle, horses in action, sheep, yard-dog trials, log chopping, poultry and other show sections. The Agriculture Learning Centre helps children learn about farming and food production through interactive activities and displays, while the community hub provides additional entertainment. Rides, sideshows, showbags and classic show food add to the atmosphere, with Saturday evening finishing with a fireworks spectacular.
