Uraidla & Summertown Show
The Uraidla & Summertown Show brings an old-fashioned country-show atmosphere to the Adelaide Hills, just a short drive from metropolitan Adelaide. The community event combines agriculture, local produce, competitions, entertainment and food to give visitors a taste of country life while showcasing the people and produce of the Hills.
Attractions traditionally include agricultural displays, local fruit and vegetables, log chopping, Devonshire tea, market stalls, rides, exhibits and family activities. Local musicians and bands provide entertainment, while challenge events such as the Tiersman Challenge and StrongMan and StrongWoman add to the program. As the daytime trade activity winds down, the show continues into the evening with music, a large bonfire and fireworks. The event also provides accessibility support for wheelchair users and people using mobility aids.
