I was Born in ‘92, in the steel town of Whyalla, I was easily influenced by the music that had been around during the time I was growing up.

From a very young age I was exposed to lots of music from the 80’s and 90’s, always appreciating listening to good music. Given what my parents had played at home and what was playing on TV at the time. I developed a strong passion towards the 80’s era of music because of this. I remember the first CD I ever owned was ABBA’S Gold Album!

If you have to ask me to this day what the best decade of music is I would without hesitation say the 80’s.

I remember to this day when I first discovered Michael Jackson it was in the year 2001 when Michael Jackson’s 30th Anniversary Concert was televised. I accidentally stumbled across this show and you can pretty much say I had become hooked, which led myself doing loads of moon walking, spins, and crotch grabbing from then on.

During this time I also started to develop an interest in radio, using nothing but a cassette recorder pretending that I am an announcer at the local community station. Through my casual paid job at the time I met an on air radio announcer at the local station, who invited me to come in during his show. From there I grew a strong interest in radio. This led to joining the station and being apart of a various of shows for a period of three years. I took a break and then returned several years later to present another show for a further four years.

It was time for a change so BitWaves was born.

So if your’e a fan of the 80’s and 90’s like me then…catch me on Saturday Nights from 6pm for Radio Takeover and various times during the week.
