Southern Expressway crash slows citybound traffic

A crash on Adelaide’s Southern Expressway has caused significant delays for early morning commuters heading into the city.

The collision occurred near O’Halloran Hill shortly after 7am, impacting citybound lanes and leading to heavy congestion during the peak travel period.

Motorists travelling toward Adelaide have been urged to allow extra time for their journeys, with traffic building quickly behind the incident scene.

It is not yet clear how many vehicles were involved or whether there have been any injuries.

Authorities are on site managing the situation, and delays are expected to continue until the roadway is cleared.
