Growing up I was exposed to all kinds of music thanks to my amazing parents, I would listen to Bon Jovi, Nickelback, P!NK, MIKA, INXS, Coldplay, Powderfinger, you name it I would have listened to it.
Music was just something I could relate to as a kid, lyrics of the songs would move me and the beat/melody would be stuck in my head all day. This continued as I got older, I had a big interest in learning instruments and singing was also a passion of mine.
During this time of my life I discovered the love of radio from a good friend who volunteered at a local radio station, I was a host there for 3 years and I loved it. I loved sharing music to different audiences and meetings them when we did outdoor broadcasts, this boosted my confidence and has made me the person I am today.
Sadly I had thought I had to end my radio journey as I’ve moved out of town but thanks to Bitwaves I’m ready to share and enjoy music again!
